Baja, California Dirt Bike Trails

from: Maxx Sports Guides

Dirt bike trail riding is one of the fastest growing non-competitive motorsport due to the excitement, thrills and adventure. Imagine the excitement you'll experience as you ride on the rough terrain at high speed. Most of the dirt bike trails regularly visited by dirt bike riders range from steep sloping hills to the most rugged vegetation.

Baja, California is one of the most popular locations for dirt bike trail riding in the United States.

Baja is one of the most frequently visited California dirt bike trails primarily because it's the site for the annual "Baja 1000" -- a well known off road racing event.

It includes a wide variety of off road and all terrain vehicles, including dirt bikes, All Terrain Vehicles (ATVs), buggies and trucks.

The race course is one of California's most rigorous dirt bike trails, starting from "Ensenada" (a Mexican state of Baja) all the way to "La Paz" (the capital of Baja California Sur of Mexico).

On the other hand, if you don't want to join the popular Baja 1000, there are numerous motorsport adventure agencies in California that provide you and your family with dirt bikes and equipments so you'll enjoy the exciting California dirt bike trails. Some motorsport adventure agencies also provide lobster meals (a famous cuisine in Baja and Puerto Nuevo) after a long and enjoyable ride on the challenging California dirt bike trails.

With more than a thousand acres of California dirt bike trails to choose from ranging from a wide variety of terrain at which you can ride, you are guaranteed to have exciting and enjoyable time. After a long day, you can rest and enjoy your provided campsites. Most of these campsites are on a "first come, first serve" basis so get their early. The campsites are provided with rest rooms and water stations, in addition, picnic table are scattered throughout the area of the California dirt bike trails.

However, extreme weather conditions may compel some organizers to temporarily close certain dirt bike trails for safety purposes. It's recommended that you call the motorsport adventure organizer ahead in order to have updated weather information. It is better to postpone that to be stranded in the wilderness of California.
