Paintball Players Can Be Ejected from the Game for Breaking the Rules

from: Maxx Sports Guides

Paintball is an extreme game that has evolved into the third most popular game in the world.

Although the game's inventors started it for fun, paintball continues to grow in popularity.

But if you want to play this game, you must follow the rules. The first is having the proper gear to protect players from paint balls.

Check all guns before using them in matches because the maximum velocity allowed is only 300 feet per second. Anything above that can cause serious injury to players.

Use Barrel Plugs

For the safety of the gun owner and the people present during the event, barrel plugs should be used to avoid any misfiring incidents.

Protective equipment must be worn at all times inside the playing field. This consists of a face mask, gloves, and pads for the chest, knees and elbows.

When hit, the player must stand up with both hands in the air to inform everyone that he has been eliminated. If the person is not sure of being hit, then ask the referee and he will confirm or deny the hit.

The facemask may fog due to sweat, paint or dirt. When this happens, the player should inform the referee and be escorted away from the field before returning to the game. If the facemask falls off, the same rule applies. When this happens, the opposing team isn't allowed to fire at that person.

Paintball is a sport where a player can only be eliminated if shot. If a player wipes the paint off and continues playing the game and is caught by the referee, that player is automatically ejected from the game. This is a form of cheating that's never tolerated.

Players aren't allowed to curse or hit other players. This game is about fun and anyone caught breaking this rule will also be taken out of the game.

Another way to take out the opposing player is by asking the person to surrender. If the player shows any form of hostile action, you have no choice but to shoot the opponent.

Rules are made to protect the participants in the game. By knowing and following the basic rules and playing the game fairly, everyone will have fun and enjoy themselves.
